This artwork is a symbolism of a woman looking in the mirror and seeing her old self, who shone with orange and warm colors, which is a representation of youth and joy, rather than her present self. Her white curtains and nightgown appear to be moving in the wind, telling her that she is still breathing and living. She was almost gently reminded that she still had life to live and that she should accept that the past, with all of its beauty and sorrow, was behind her and move on.​
